Dozens of men and women packed up their gear to hike and “ruck” Buffalo Springs Lake.
Hosted by local organization “Remember Our Heroes” those who participated raised money for local veterans.
Organizers of the event, said this is the second annual year of hosting the event. This year special guest, Nate Boyer, former Green Beret and NFL Player, attended the event to support his fellow veterans.
The whole trek was a total of 5 miles with nearly 50 pounds of weight of their backs.
