Lubbock County Sheriff deputies blocked off an area at an apartment complex along 50th Street and Bangor Avenue Tuesday evening around 5:30 p.m.
When our team arrived on scene, a photojournalist found deputies searching a blue vehicle in the parking lot.
EverythingLubbock.com found the license plate on the car is registered to Katrina Castillo, 20, who is the victim in a recent homicide investigation. She was found unresponsive in the back yard of a house in East Lubbock Monday evening.
After our team asked LSO about the new information, officials did not want to comment on any other details in the homicide investigation.
