LUBBOCK, Texas — A tent stolen from non-profit ,March of Dimes, and vendor “Spoiled Me Rotten Party & Events” has been located after being found in North Lubbock. The tent had been missing for two days after it was set up for the non-profit’s main fundraiser, March for Babies.

“It was around seven in the morning when we had gone on site and realized that this enormous tent that was going to be our checkpoint was gone,” said Crystal Coppedge, Deveopment Manger for Mach of Dimes. “It was too late to try and do anything else, so we had to move some things around and really make do with what we had.”

The tent was found by an employee from “Spoiled Me Rotten Party & Events,” after the worker drove through a Lubbock neighborhood and spotted it set up in a person’s backyard. Police arrived on scene to arrest one man at the home on unrelated charges.

“We are just glad that this has been resolved,” said Tony Castle, Owner of Spoiled Me Rotten. “It was a total chance encounter, and we are just grateful to the community and our employees for being on the lookout for this crime.”
