The famous orange and white labeled sauces from Whataburger are now being sold in all United Supermarkets stores. Fans of the Texas-based fast food restaurant are excited to stock up.
“I wouldn’t call myself a fan. I’d call myself a fanatic. I eat it religiously, as much as I can. The only place that’s convenient and has great food. I don’t mind spending the extra money to get Whataburger and gotta load up on spicy ketchup and now I don’t have to,” said Kurtis Lester, a Whataburger fanatic.
“I didn’t come here for it, but now I know that it’s here, I might buy it,” Lester said.
Some bottles you can buy are Whataburger fancy ketchup, spicy ketchup and honey mustard.
“I put it on sandwiches. Honey mustard with ham. So good, it’s so good! Ketchup with fries, fancy ketchup with fries is my favorite,” said Mary Myers, United Family communications manager.
And the shelves already had some visitors.
“I wish I would have known because I would have been in line waiting for them to come out,” said Lester.
The United Family said it has been a long time coming, and as long as you keep buying, they said they’ll keep selling.
“We’ve heard for years, that markets would really love to be able to have this product. We know it’s great, too. So really what we have here are two Texas brands coming together,” said Myers.
