Staff and “Villagers” at High Point Village are getting ready for their seventh annual Storybook Gala, one of the organization’s largest fundraisers of the year.

This year’s gala will be Thursday, November 2 in the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center banquet hall. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m., and is cocktail attire. The evening will feature handmade items created by the Villagers who work year-round on their projects.

The evening’s keynote speaker will be Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author, Ron Suskind, who is the author of six best-selling books that document his family’s two-decade struggle with autism.

Seating and tickets are still available for the gala, if you and your family wish to attend, tickets can be purchased here through the High Point Village website.
