Cooler Weather This Week: After warming to 100° on Sunday, cooler weather is on the way this week thanks to more clouds and rain chances. The high pressure are will shift and redevelop well to our west this week. One more warm day is on tap Monday with middle and upper 90s. Daytime highs will drop back into the lower 90s Tuesday – Friday. 

Rain Chances Return: As the area of high pressure shifts westward our  winds at the surface to return from the south and southeast. This will bring moisture back into the area. Combined with daytime heating, there is slight chance for thunderstorms each afternoon and early evening. Meanwhile, thunderstorms that form well to the north and northwest of Texas will drop south and southeast around the high pressure area and could impact our area in the late evening and overnight hours.
