Today: Sunny skies with clear conditions throughout the day. Temperatures will reach the low to mid 50s. Winds will stay more calm, from the southwest 5-15 mph.
Tonight: Clear skies will continue overnight, which will allow temperatures to drop below freezing once again. We’ll fall into the upper 20s with wind from the southwest at 5-10 mph.
Extended: Thursday will be another day of quiet weather, and temperatures will even warm up a bit, near 60-degrees. A stronger storm system will arrive by the end of the week. We will see the clouds increase on Friday and rain chances will begin that evening, continuing through most of the weekend. Saturday will be our coldest day of the week, in the lower 40s. Most of us will only experience rain this weekend, but those in the Northwestern South Plains could see some wintry precipitation during the overnight hours.
Have a great Wednesday!
