Texas Tech(9-7, 0-5) is still in search of its first Big 12 win of the season, after dropping the season series to TCU with a 69-48 loss at TCU on Wednesday night. Tech had previously lost to TCU 78-69 just two weeks before.
The Lady Raiders could not get out of single digits in scoring in the second and third quarters(9, 8) as the Lady Frogs ran away on a 41-17 run in the two quarters.
Tech shot 32% from the field for the game, while TCU shot 46%.
Head coach Candi Whitaker said before the game she hoped her team would cut down on the transition opportunities vs TCU in the second meeting, but the Lady Frogs forced Tech into 22 turnovers in the game.
The Lady Raiders will play host to Iowa State at 2pm on Sunday at the United Supermarkets Arena.
