LUBBOCK, Texas – Three people were displaced in a house fire Sunday afternoon in Southwest Lubbock.

The fire was reported around 4:50 p.m. in the 7000 block of Winston Avenue.

According to Lubbock Fire Rescue, crews arrived on scene to find a working fire in progress.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control by 5:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported at the scene.

The Lubbock Fire Marshal’s Office was called to the scene and is investigating the cause of the fire.

The Lubbock Police Department told EverythingLubbock.com a propane tank may have exploded, but Lubbock Fire Rescue has not confirmed that detail.

The Red Cross is assisting the three adults displaced by the fire.
