Lubbock Christian University and the Texas Tech HSC School of Nursing respectively released information about upcoming gradation ceremonies.

School of Nursing December Graduation
WHAT: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Nursing will commence their inaugural December graduation ceremony.
WHEN: December 10, 2016, 1 p.m.
WHERE: United Supermarkets Arena, 1701 Indiana Avenue
EVENT: The first December School of Nursing commencement ceremony will graduate more than 700 students.
TTUHSC President’s Ambassador Matthew Reed, a Veteran to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (VBSN) student will deliver the commencement address. Seven VBSN students will be graduating in the inaugural class of VBSN students with 212 classmates completing their BSN.
One hundred thirty candidates will receive their Master of Science in Nursing and various post-masters certifications and three candidates will receive the Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees.
Lubbock Christian University Holds Commencement Ceremonies
LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Christian University will host winter commencement ceremonies Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10, where more than 190 undergraduate and graduate students will receive their diplomas.
Friday, December 9
7:30 p.m.: Graduate commencement ceremony located in the McDonald Moody Auditorium.
Saturday, December 10
10 a.m.: Undergraduate commencement ceremony located in the RIP Griffin Center (26th and Chicago).
Dr. Steve McCleery, Lubbock Christian University graduate, Army veteran and former president of New Mexico Junior College will be the headline speaker for the undergraduate commencement ceremony this Saturday.
This year’s graduate ceremony speaker is Dr. Bill Kingston, director of graduate education in the School of Education at LCU and former director of administrative services for the Region 18 Education Service Center in Midland, Texas.
