The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaps basketball team was presented with championship rings prior to Saturday night’s game.
A championship banner was also unveiled in the gym at LCU.
This came after the Lady Chaps were crowned 2016 NCAA Division II National Champions in April.
According to a statement from the university, all of the members of last season’s winning team were in attendance to receive their rings, except Tony Iroko, who is currently playing at Mary Hardin Baylor.
LCU finished the 2016 season 35-0.
The ring and banner presentation were part of the opening weekend of homes games for LCU’s 2017 season.
