WHAT:
On Monday, May 9, 2016 at 5:30 p.m., Lubbock Christian University will be presenting three families, who will move into their new homes today through Habitat for Humanity, with hundreds of dollars’ worth of household items.

These items were collected in a unique way. On April 19, LCU hosted an Inspiring Evening with Jen Hatmaker one of many series we have held for the purpose of bringing speakers to campus that will make a change in our community. Jen is known for her humanitarian efforts and so we wanted to follow in suit. Instead of buying 65 tables worth of decorations or flower arrangements, the LCU community collected and donated housing items that could be given to families moving into new homes from Habitat for Humanity. These items were then used as table decorations for the event.
