Area youth who participated in Lubbock Lemonade Day are encouraged to submit their Business Results Forms and bring their stamped Passports for admission to enjoy our free wrap-up party taking place at the J.T. and Margaret Talkington YWCA Sun ‘n Fun at 6204 Elgin, this Friday, May 12th from 5 – 8pm.

Along with the free pool party, there will be snacks, music and of course Lemi for selfies and autographs on-site. Entrepreneurs will also be able to share their success stories and learn from each other. Kids that submit a completed Passport can enter to win a scholarship at the party by doing an on-camera interview and sharing their own “Lemons to Gold” story. Business Results Forms and Passports can also be submitted in person at the YWCA at 3101 35 St. during normal business hours this week or digitally here: lubbock.lemonadeday.org/business-results-form.

For the second year, Texas Tech University and United Supermarkets have joined forces with Lubbock Lemonade Day to offer six – $500 Texas Tech University scholarships to bright young entrepreneurs, in addition to sponsoring the Entrepreneur of the Year, who is awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Texas Tech University at a Red Raider football game this fall!

Lemonade Day is empowering tomorrow’s entrepreneurs by teaching them to start, own and operate their very own business – a lemonade stand. Saturday’s results will be revealed at an upcoming press conference.
