Missy Passmore from Levelland Main Street Program is here to talk about the Downtown Sounds event.
The Levelland Main Street Program hosts the 2nd Annual Downtown Sounds on May 12, 2016. This event is free to the public and will take place on the Hockley County Courthouse Square beginning at 5:30 PM and ending at 7:30 PM.
Downtown Sounds will provide entertainment, food, and shopping. Participants of the L.I.F.E’s a Beach 5K Color Run can also pick up their registration packets during Downtown Sounds. Many downtown businesses will be open late. The Honeycomb Pie Shoppe will be open for dining. Music will be provided all around the square and at the gazebo by students and faculty from the SPC Commercial Music Department.
Shoppers will have the unique experience of enjoying music while they walk from store to store as SPC students play from the sidewalks. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy entertainment from the gazebo.
