Lubbock Fire Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire a vacant warehouse Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported in the area of 3rd Street and Avenue P before 6:00 a.m.
Crews managed to extinguish the fire quickly and the building was then searched.
The warehouse suffered some fire and heavy smoke damage.
LFR said no victims were hound inside the structure.
The Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate and determined the warehouse was being used by vagrants.
The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
