LISD confirmed three students were disciplined after a video surfaced on social media that appeared to show them engaging in sexual activity.

The district said the incident took place after-hours. The police report said it happened some time between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.

The video was shared dozens of times on social media.

According to the police report one of the minors was “arrested and charged with Public Lewdness and Sale, Distribution and Display harmful material to a minor.”

Police said another individual was arrested for Public Lewdness.

Police indicated both of them were transported to the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center and booked into jail.

LISD issued a statement, which is listed below.

“Lubbock ISD was apprised of a video posted to social media of three students involved in sexual activity on school district property. The district took immediate action in initiating both administrative and criminal charges. Anyone distributing the video could also face charges.”
