Serenity Nail Spa is excited to announce their plans to raise money for breast cancer during from October 5, 2016 – December 5, 2016 with “Mani and Pedi for the cure” that will benefit Susan G. Komen® Lubbock Area.
Jenny Nguyen, owner of the salon, will donate $5 for every “Mani and Pedi for the Cure”. In addition, the salon will host a party that includes food, drinks, and door prizes at the following day and time:
Serenity Nail Spa (6076 Marsha Sharp Freeway.), Wednesday, Oct. 12, all day.
“I have family and friends who have fought breast cancer, and to honor them our salon wants to raise breast cancer awareness; raise funds for research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment; and support those affected by this disease,” Jenny said. “I’d like to invite the public to come help support others in our community.”
Komen Lubbock Area saves and improves lives in 16 South Plains counties by funding grants that provide screenings, access to treatment, supplies, and breast health education; by providing survivor support programs; and by funding research to find the cures.
