The 13th annual Miracles Christmas Parade will be held Saturday evening down Lubbock’s 34th Street.

The Texas Tech University Cheer and Pom Squads will serve as the Grand Marshals for the parade.

Would War II Veteran and Lubbock resident Phil Crenshaw will also serve as an Honorary Grand Marshal.

The parade is free and begins at 6:00 p.m.

The parade begins at Avenue Q and will then proceed down 34th Street to Indiana Avenue.

The parade theme this year is “March of the Toy.”

The final unit of the parade is Santa Claus, riding on the United States Marines float.  Marines will walk beside the float to collect unwrapped toys from parade spectators, who are encouraged to actively participate in the parade by bring unwrapped toys to give to the marines during the parade.
