Women’s Protective Services is excited to announce the 18th annual “Planting the Seeds for Change” event. This year the Hurst benefit drawings will be held on August 19th at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The drawings will be for a John Deere 3025E Tractor package with Loader, Shredder, Box Blade and Trailer, a John Deere XUV 825i S4 Two Seater Gator, a John Deere 625i S2 Gator or a John Deere 915E S4 Commercial Mower.
Tickets to the event are $100.00 and each ticket purchased admits the ticket holder and one adult guest. Also, the ticket price includes a dinner for two with live music and dancing, a fantastic Casino Night and a wonderful Silent Auction, including exotic trips and remarkable items for bidding. Tickets can be purchased by calling 806-748-5292. All funds received will be used to support victims of Domestic Abuse in Lubbock and the surrounding eleven counties.
Family Violence is the leading cause of injury to young females in West Texas. As the third largest Domestic Violence shelter in Texas and one of the largest in the nation, Women’s Protective Services is committed to ending this atrocity.
