An eyewitness said three houses burned down in Lorenzo Tuesday afternoon.
The eyewitness called the EverythingLubbock.com newsroom with a few basic details. The fire was reported in the 500 block of Washington Avenue.
Another viewer recorded video which showed flames and thick black smoke. Lubbock and the surrounding areas were under a Red Flag Warning for extremely high fire danger at the time. Winds were in excess of 25 miles per hour as officially measured in Lubbock and gusts were more than 40.
