Beginning Wednesday, September 13, 2017, the City of Lubbock with Utility Contractors of America will begin construction of Lift Station 41 at the intersection of 34th Street and Iola Avenue. This phase of the project will restrict access for eastbound traffic on 34th Street. The eastbound outside lane of 34th Street will be closed between La Salle Avenue and Hyden Avenue.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the construction if possible and to use extreme caution while driving in the construction area.
