Carry with Respect will be hosting their 3rd annual Case for Dignity & Awareness Collection Drive on Saturday, September 30.
The event will take place from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Lubbock Seventh-Day Adventist Church, located at 53rd and Elgin Avenue.
They are collecting new and used suit cases, duffel bags and backpacks.
Their goal is to collect 150 items.
These items will be distributed by Women’s Protective Services throughout the year for victims of abuse and their children in need.
The month of October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
