The Texas Department of Public Safety released information about a deadly crash on Monday morning that killed four people from Lubbock.
The victims were identified as Johnathan Patrick Pena, 18; Manuel Martinez, 24; Ruben Licon, 17; and Treqweishium Kevondrick Williams, 19.
DPS said the four were going west on Interstate 20 in a pickup truck. The pickup crossed the center median and crashed into an 18-wheeler that was going east.
DPS said, “All occupants of [the pickup] were ejected. [The] driver of [the semi-truck] was not injured. Investigators were unable to determine who was driving the pickup.”
