Communities in Schools of the South Plains will host their 7th Annual Gala on Saturday, February 9.
The Gala will be held at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The event will begin with a silent action and cocktails at 6:00 p.m., with the Gala beginning at 6:45 p.m.
KLBK’s Terri Furman will be the emcee for the evening.

The mission of Communities in Schools (CIS) is to “surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.”
The purpose of the annual CIS of the South Plains Gala is to highlight the CIS mission while championing our work in addressing the factors that contribute to student dropout rates.
