The following is a news release from the Owen Group:

Teachers and faculty members of any level of school or university can see any regularly priced movie at any time for free starting Friday, March 9th through Sunday, March 18th.

“We are excited to take this opportunity to celebrate our area teachers and school employees for the fourth straight year,” said Alamo Drafthouse Lubbock Creative Manager Weston Davis. “We know how hard they work, and so we wanted to be able to give back to them by inviting them to come see a movie on us.”

Teachers must bring a current ID from their place of employment (preschool, elementary, high schools, university) or some other proof of employment. Homeschooling parents can bring along documentation that shows they are a teacher and will also receive free admission.

This offer may be used for one free ticket per teacher per screening. It only works in person, at our box office. All shows are for ages 6 and up unless otherwise stated on our website. The free ticket must be for a screening on the day the guest visits the theater. Special events with a ticket price of $12 or less are eligible for this offer.
