The American Cancer Society is hosting a Bark for Life event on Saturday, September 9, from 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Park.

Jennings Park is located at 82nd Street and Vicksburg Avenue.

Bark For Life is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer.

By supporting Bark For Life, you help the American Cancer Society save lives, and that helps us move closer to our ultimate goal of a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

So bring your best canine friend and join us for a fun-filled day starting with a walk, and then continuing with demonstrations, contests, and games.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. (day of the event registration is $25, includes t-shirt, and bandana)

$5 to register a second dog – only 2 canine friends per person
