Families in Anton woke up to destruction from an overnight severe hailstorm. The storm damaged several homes, trees and cars.
“It got louder and louder and then you could barely talk were laying next to each other, we couldn’t hear each other and the next thing you know the window shattered so we jumped up. I knew as soon as that window went the rest of them were going to go and I didn’t want to be in the room. I’ve got a couple of cuts and bruises. It was terrible,” Bradley Garrison, a resident of Anton said.
Adam Cline, just recently moved to Anton and said his car could be possibly totaled by all of the hail damage.
“I expected the car. When the windows broke it was kinda a shock. I hadn’t seen that much glass lying around in a long time,” Cline said.
Several neighbors boarded up their windows with plywood and plastic as a precaution to the possibility of another storm hitting.
