The United Family and Mrs Baird’s Bread announced last week the group of educators to be honored for the months of April and May in the 2016-2017 Lubbock area Teachers On The Rise program. Each educator was honored in a surprise presentation at her school last week. This will be the final group recognized in this school year.

Winning teachers each receive a $100 gift card to United Supermarkets, Market Street or Amigos, as well as a $100 VISA gift card. The students who nominate a winning teacher also receive a $50 VISA gift card.

Three Lubbock area teachers – one elementary, middle school and high school – were named Teachers On The Rise every month in the 2016-2017 school year. All teachers from this school year will be honored at a banquet on May 30 at The Texas Tech Club.
