The following is a press release from the Lubbock Police Department:
Ryan Christopher De La Garza, 21, is now in the Lubbock County Detention Center charged with indecent exposure in connection to a case that occurred on March 2nd.
Lubbock Police Department detectives arrested Garza on an arrest warrant Monday evening in the area of 82nd Street and Slide.
His charges stem from an incident near Phil Hoel Park in the 8700 block of Dover Avenue. The victim was running near the park and advised there was a male visibly masturbating in a car. The victim then reported the incident to police.
As the investigation continued, detectives were able to identify Garza as the suspect and an arrest warrant was issued on Monday, March 12th.
Garza is believed to be connected to other indecent exposure cases around the same area.
He is currently being held at the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
