Cornerstone Business Holdings, the parent company for Betenbough Homes, a leading home builder in West Texas, will celebrate the grand opening of its brand-new building in Lubbock. The new building sits adjacent to the Betenbough Homes main office on 82nd Street and Milwaukee Avenue, and together they make up the new Grove campus.
To commemorate the grand opening, a ribbon cutting and reception is set for Monday, October 23 at 4 pm on The Grove campus, located at 6303 82nd Street in Lubbock. All city leaders and officials, media outlets, personnel, partners and organizations are welcome to attend.
The 30,000 square-foot Grove campus will be home to multiple businesses, including a new restaurant for Lubbock residents. The Watering Well Eatery, which will be on the first floor will serve a menu of clean and crave-able food. Other entities located in The Grove are Cornerstone Business Holdings and the nonprofit Prepare International.
“In 25 years of business, God has done amazing things through a homebuilding company. An earlier version of the Betenbough Homes logo included a single tree. We are calling this new campus The Grove because our goal is to take what He has taught us and spread it across many business platforms, expanding from one tree to many,” shared Rick Betenbough, co-founder of Betenbough Homes.
Following the ribbon cutting, attendees are invited to explore the campus and enjoy fall-themed hors d’oeuvres provided by The Watering Well Eatery.
The new building features an industrial theme with reclaimed wood walls and large conference tables made of sustainably-sourced wood from Texas. The building is three stories and includes a full-sized catering kitchen, a courtyard with an amphitheater, and a bell tower with a reclaimed bell from the early 1900s. Lastly, the new building features an event space for up to 275 people, which will be used for company events.
“We are so honored to be a part of what is happening here,” said Jon Jackson, president of Cornerstone. “As we open the doors to The Grove campus, our hope is to create a place where people can have an encounter with God as they seek to find greater purpose in the marketplace.”
Company leadership and founders will be available for interviews following the ceremony. To schedule an interview, contact Mari Rodriguez at 806.543.9229.
