On Monday the Texas Department of Public Safety said a motorcycle rider lost his life in a motorcycle crash. DPS identified the victim as Larry Valverde, 55, of Big Spring.
DPS said on Sunday morning Valverde’s motorcycle was going east on Interstate 20 at mile-marker 238.
“The vehicle went off the roadway into the barrow ditch,” DPS said. DPS also said conditions were rainy and wet.
The cause of the accident was under investigation. Valverde was pronounced dead at the scene, DPS said.
