As Hurricane Harvey makes landfall, Breedlove Foods, Inc., a Lubbock, Texas-based humanitarian relief organization, announced plans to send a semi-truck container with food for the Gulf Coast of Texas.
The truck will contain various dehydrated rice and soup blends as well as Vitanut, a ready-to-eat, peanut and soy based product, for use when water is not available.
Pending landfall status, departure is expected Monday 8/28 or Tuesday 8/29 from the Breedlove processing facility in Lubbock. More departure information will be provided once landfall has occurred.
