The Buddy Holly Center presents No Dry County in concert during the Summer Showcase Concert Series Thursday, June 28 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the Meadows Courtyard. The concert is free and open to the public.
The evening will include:
- Children’s activities
- Cash Bar
- Food truck fare (only beverages purchased onsite will be allowed in the courtyard)
- J&D BBQ & Blue Oasis Italian Icehouse
Lubbock band No Dry County offers Country and Americana music infused with classic rock and roll. Original, heartfelt lyrics about real life, real places and real people have the ability to cross cultural and generational boundaries with their sound and energy. After giving up jobs and moving into a van, the band has made their living playing over 100 dates a year traveling mostly in Texas and the Midwest.
The 2018 Summer Showcase Concert Series runs every Thursday through August 23rd from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Meadows Courtyard.
