The Buddy Holly Center has launched a Buddy Holly Story Map on the homepage of its website www.buddyhollycenter.org. The map was prepared by the City of Lubbock GIS and Data Services Department using data acquired from a variety of sources.
Story Maps allow you to combine authoritative maps with narrative text, images, and multimedia content, making it easy to harness the power of maps and geography to tell a story.
The Buddy Holly Story Map allows users to tour Lubbock locations of importance to Holly’s life and musical legacy.
The Center hopes the map will provide the public, Holly fans and historians with educational information and sites of interest in and around the Lubbock area.
