The Boys & Girls Clubs of Lubbock will celebrate the National Day For Kids activities at all four Club locations in Lubbock and in Shallowater on Friday, September 15th. Boys & Girls Clubs of America felt that there needed to be a day to celebrate kids since there is a Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and a Grandparent’s Day. We want to celebrate Kid’s and to show just how good most of our children truly are. All activities will begin at 3:30 PM and end at 6:30 PM. There will be food for everyone as well as games and activities for all to participate in. All families are welcome!
The Lubbock Boys & Girls Clubs are celebrating its 77th Anniversary this year so we are offering a throw back membership opportunity for families and children that need to come to the club. If a child joins the Club on this day their membership will only cost .50 cents for the entire school year!
Activities at the Clubs will vary but will be similar from the ones at the John Wilson Boys & Girls Club such as the following:
· Corn Hole Game
· Club member’s favorite games.
· Cup stacking with solo cups into a pyramid
· Paper Airplane building and take offs
· Balloon games
· Drawing competition in Art Room
· Prizes will be given away for winners throughout the events
