The following is a news release from the City of Lubbock:
Beginning Monday, October 1, 2018, the City of Lubbock with Guardian Construction will begin construction of a Sanitary Sewer Main at the intersection of Quaker Avenue and 124th Street. The project is scheduled to be completed on Monday, October 15, 2018, weather permitting.
Construction will intermittently close the southbound right lane of Quaker Ave from 122nd Street to 124th Street. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the construction if possible and to use extreme caution while driving in the construction.
