The following is a news release from the City of Lubbock:
City of Lubbock offices will be closed Friday, April 19, 2019 in observance of Good Friday. Regular business hours will resume Monday, April 22, 2019.
Residential Trash Collection
There will be no trash collection on Friday. Routes with Friday pick-up will be covered on alternate days.
Landfills
The landfills will be closed Friday. The Caliche Canyon location, 8425 Avenue B, will be open Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Recycling Centers
The City Recycling Centers will also be closed Friday, but will return to normal business hours on Saturday,
Libraries
The City libraries will be closed Friday, April 19, through Sunday, April 21. Normal business hours will resume Monday, April 22, 2019.
Museums
The Museums will also be closed Friday, but will be open on Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
