LUBBOCK, Texas —  City of Lubbock spokesperson Lacey Nobles on Monday said A.J. Fawver, the city’s director of planning and zoning, is resigning her position effective May 7.  She has accepted a position with a consulting firm that will allow her to work for multiple cities.

Fawver has been the planning director since June of 2018.  Before that, she was planning director for the City of Amarillo from August 2016 to May 2018. Before that, she worked as an administrator for the Planning & Development Department for the City of San Angelo.

Fawver is a graduate of Angelo State University.
