The City of Lubbock is pleased to announce Stacy McKenzie started her new position as Library Director Wednesday, January 2. Stacy graduated from Lubbock High School and Texas Tech University, before earning her Master of Library Science degree from Texas Woman’s University.
Stacy has worked various positions in Pennsylvania, and Colorado. Most recently she was the director of a three branch library system for the Colorado Department of Corrections – Denver Complex. Stacy will bring a high level of energy and customer service to the Lubbock Library System.
