The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee will hold its first public event on Tuesday, July 25 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Banquet Hall. This event will start at 6:00 p.m.

Community members are invited to attend and share ideas on how they would like Lubbock to look in the future, including development, amenities, and more. Attendees will be encouraged to take part in collaboration stations to write down their views on quality of life, neighborhood enhancements, aesthetics, and additional topics. They will also be able to talk with members of the project team. Children will be invited to participate in a Kids Station where they will be able to draw what they would like to see in our city.

A computer station will be set up for attendees to take the Lubbock Comprehensive Plan Community Survey. This survey is available online now and can be accessed by visiting mylubbock.us/survey. The survey is designed to give the City’s planning consultants a better idea of what our community members envision for Lubbock’s future.

Community participation in this process is appreciated and highly encouraged as the Comprehensive Plan will be utilized to help guide the growth of our city for years to come.
