On Monday, Nov. 19, construction will begin along 22nd Place along Quaker Avenue and Peoria Avenue for a fire line tap.
The City of Lubbock said officials will close 22nd Place to through traffic during construction. The project’s estimated time or date of completion was not announced.
“Local traffic and business access will be the only traffic permitted along 22nd Place during this time period,” according to the City of Lubbock.
The public is encouraged to find other routes while construction is underway.
