Construction to close Erskine Street at Gardner Avenue on Wednesday, Oct. 16

LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) – The following is a news release from the City of Lubbock:

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, the City of Lubbock, with Utility Contractors of America, will begin construction of a water main at the intersection of Erskine Street and Gardner Avenue. Erskine Street will be closed at Gardner Avenue.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible, and to use extreme caution while driving in the work zone.
