The following is a press release from Landtroop Strategies:
Southcrest Christian School proudly unveiled their upcoming event – Cowboy Up – featuring Dallas Cowboy quarterback, Dak Prescott. The highly anticipated event will take place Friday, April 13, at Southcrest Baptist Church with Title Sponsor Reagor Dykes Auto Group and will offer sponsors dinner and photo opportunities with the young star.
The 2017 NFL Rookie Of The Year will share a compelling story of overcoming the odds and capitalizing on opportunities as they present themselves, with a Q&A session addressing pressing challenges of the day.
The tenacity that set him on the world stage for Dallas began years earlier. Raised by a single mother who served as mom, dad and coach in his formative years, Prescott was devastated when his mother succumbed to cancer November of 2013, just games prior to finding his stride and leading Mississippi State to the No. 1 ranking for five weeks.
After 31 NFL teams overlooked him, Dak Prescott was thrust into the starting quarterback role for America’s team when Tony Romo became unable to play due to injury. An emerging life pattern, Prescott took the big break he was given and made the most of it. His fresh leadership and humility brought new life to the Cowboys and it soon became apparent that he would remain in the leading role.
Bart Reagor will interview Prescott, asking questions about his family, his faith, his experience and what lies ahead.
Sponsorship and table opportunities are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the school at 806-776-0532. Individual tickets are available at DakPrescottLubbock.com.
Proceeds from this event benefit Southcrest Christian School. More than just a mascot, Southcrest is training WARRIORS.
