The following is a news release from the Lubbock County Democratic Party:
Daylan J. Flowers is a lifelong Lubbock resident. Daylan attended Lubbock ISD schools all Precinct 2 schools, including Monterey High School.
After graduating with a degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, Daylan worked for several banks and financial institutions, most recently with New York Life, helping and serving others along the way. Daylan has served on several boards, mainly helping children, including Foster a-Life, 4th on Broadway, South Plains Football Officials, and the Children Advocacy Center.
Daylan is also involved with the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals of Lubbock.
