A deceased female was discovered Monday afternoon in the backyard of a house off East 2nd Street and Peach Avenue, the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office said.
Around 4:36 p.m. Monday, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a dead body in the 4200 block of East 2nd Street.
The victim was a white or Hispanic female. No other information about the victim is available at this time.
The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office asks the public to call 806-775-1601 or 911 if you have any information.
An investigation is underway.
