SHALLOWATER, Texas — On Monday, the Texas Department of Public Safety publicly identified the victim of a deadly pedestrian accident. The accident was shortly after 9:00 pm Sunday along U.S. Highway 84 near Shallowater.
DPS said the pedestrian, Luis Rosales, 27, address unknown, was taken from the scene of the accident to University Medical Center where he later died.
DPS said Rosales was walking in the lanes of traffic when he was struck by a vehicle.
No charges have been filed, and the incident is still under investigation.
