A 31-year-old Lubbock pedestrian died after he was hit by a car Sunday morning, the Texas Department of Public Safety said Monday.
Daniel Javier Hernandez of Lubbock was hit around 2 a.m. Sunday on West 50th Street, just west of FM 179, DPS said.
“The vehicle that struck Hernandez left the scene. The crash remains under investigation,” DPS said.
