A chase ended in Central Lubbock Wednesday afternoon with a crash near 47th Street and Avenue X and three people arrested.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said officers observed a “possible drug transaction” in the area of 49th Street and Avenue U.
“Agents attempted to stop a vehicle and a short pursuit ensued. The vehicle lost control and came to stop after a crash,” DPS said.
The three suspects were not named in a brief DPS statement. DPS said narcotics and a weapon were found in the car. The DPS statement did not mention injuries.
