LUBBOCK, Texas – Early voting for the May 4, 2019 election will be begin on Monday.
The nine-day early voting period will run from Monday, April 22 to Tuesday, April 30.
Lubbock County residents will vote on a $99.6 million bond that would pay for improvements to county roads.
There are no elections scheduled for the City of Lubbock or the Lubbock Independent School District on May 4.
Surrounding areas, however, will be casting ballots for mayoral, city council and school board positions.
