Fiesta del Llano, Inc. will host their annual ‘El Diez y Sies de Septiembre’ parade Saturday morning as part of the annual Fiesta Patrias celebration.
The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The parade route will start at Broadway and Avenue V. The parade will then travel east on Broadway to Avenue M. It will then turn north toward the east parking lot at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
The theme for the parade is “Community Unity.”
Elected officials, both past and present, who impact the Lubbock area in a positive way will be honored.
The parade will also feature several current and former elected officials from the Lubbock area.
We will also be promoting the importance of enfranchisement for all citizens.
All non-profit organizations, schools, any type of clubs, athletic teams, businesses, political groups, politicians are encouraged to participate in the parade.
